Pissarro in Eragny
Camille Pissarro could be the perfect illustrator of the writer Emile Zola. Leader of the Impressionists, we can find in his paintings this look on the other. A bucolic and human artist, Pissaro was able to transcribe in his works those moments of simple and rural life where his easel could act as a camera, and thus, to stop indefinitely time and emotion. The exhibition, presented at the Luxembourg Museum, traces the last years of his life, both pastoral and committed.
